The electric motor of the Y2 series are the renewal of the products of the series electric motors. They have a number of improvements than the Y series in protection grade, locked-rotor torque and contour design etc. They come up to advanced word standards of the early 1990s.

The Y2 series electric motor are the three-phase asynchronous electric motors with fully-enclosed, self cooled, and squirrel cage type. The power grade and the installation dimension are up to the IEC standard and the DIN42673 standard completely. The insulation grade is F. The outer covering protection grade is IP54. The way of cooling is ICO141.

The rated voltage of the Y2 series electric motors is 380V. The rated frequency is 50Hz. The way of work is S1 continuous work system. The terminal box is at the top of the electric motor. It can move at intervals of ninety degrees. It can issue wires from the any direction of the front, the back, the left and the right. The contour dimension and the terminal box at the top are different from the Y series.

3.Y2/Y3 series motors can be widely used as driving equipment of various machineries, such as machine tools, blowers, pumps, compressors, transporters, agricultural and food processing. Pedestal installation size and centre height ad other indexes of the motor completely measured by Y3 series three-phase asynchronous motors.
4. Ambient temperature: -15 °C -40 °C . Altitude should be higher than 1000metres above sea level.
Connection: Y star-connection for 3kw and less power motors; Delta-connection is for above power motors. The temperature rise of the stator winding is examined at 80K.

 YKK-series (3kv, 6kv, 10kV) motor, is of closed squirrel-cage three phase asynchronous motor. The protection degree of the motor is of IP44/IP54 and the cooling method is of IC611. The motor has such advantage as high efficiency, energy-saving low noise, low vibration, light weight and reliable performance. They are easy for installation and maintenance.

        YKK series motor is design into box type construction. The frame is light in weight and good in rigid and it is made of steel plates by melding. Air-water cooler is fixed at the top of motor frame. It is convenient for replacement and maintenance. The stator of motor adopt for press construction. The winding of motor is for VPI impregnating, which ensure the reliable of the insulation, the mechanical stress and the capable of resistant humidity.  

        This motor is used to drive various mechanical equipment such as blowers, compressors, pumps, crushing, grinding mill, etc. It can be serve as the prime movers in coal mines, mechanical industry, power plants and various industrial enterprises.
